UPDATE: 8/8/09
Jeez, folks! The San Francisco Chronicle doesn't carry the weekday Family Circus strips, so I can't update daily! Oh jeez! I promise to update it soon! Forgive me already, jeez!

Sunday, 7/26/09
Okay, so this one has two panels and both take place in a church. In the first, Billy, Dolly and Jeffy are sitting between their parents (the dad is holding P.J.) and fighting. The problem is that THEY'RE IN CHURCH! Both parents are frowning and so are all of the people sitting behind them and the scruffy, bearded man sitting next to the mom. All of the frowning people are looking at the children. Jeffy is holding a purse, but it can't belong to his mother because she also has a purse, so right now we're dealing with the mystery of the extra purse. He's climbing on Billy's head while Billy and Dolly are pushing their hands and are wearing mad faces that seem to say "I am going to push you, so watch out!" There are motion lines on all three children, which signify movement.
In the second panel (of two, remember), the children have been separated by their parents. Everybody's still on the same bench, but instead of situating the dad on the left, the mother on the right, and all of the kids in the middle, the order, from left, is now Dolly, Dad (holding P.J.), Billy, Mom, and then Jeffy. JEFFY IS NO LONGER HOLDING A PURSE. Now the three kids are slumped over in their seats and don't look too pleased at all, but everybody else around them, including the parents, are smiling. The first time I read this strip I didn't realize it, but P.J. is totally smiling in the end! It's like he won the fight because he didn't fight and was a good baby!
See you around the living room tomorrow!
